East End Jazz Presents: The Heart of America – Songs of Our Roots on October 24

In honor of America’s 250-year celebration, the Jamesport Meeting House is proud to host an exclusive concert by East End Jazz, “The Heart of America: Songs of Our Roots,” on Saturday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. The program explores the foundational music of the American experience, beautifully weaving together soulful blues, spiritual hymns and gospel, and the rich story telling of country music.

Accord Treble Choir, “There is a Seam,” November 8 at 4 PM

Our 1731 Series presents an extraordinary concert by Accord Treble Choir on Sunday, November 8 at 4 PM. “There is a Seam” is a musical journey between the passage of seasons, the cycles of dark and light, time and nature and the connections between past and present. The centerpiece of the program is a magnificent eight-movement musical tour of seasonal festivals, Songs for the Wheel of the Year, written for Accord by NYC-based composer Matthew Harris.

Gail Storm Live at the Meeting House November 14

Join us on Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 PM for the debut of Gail Storm’s latest CD, “Live at the Meeting House,” a performance recorded here on November 1, 2025. The concert will feature Gail at piano and on vocals, David Phelps on guitar, David Sacrestano on bass, and Ed Bimonte on drums. Come celebrate the music, the memories, and the magic of a night to remember.

Carols & Cookies with the Meeting House Chorus December 20

Come enjoy a joyful and moving holiday concert followed by cookies on Sunday, December 20 at 4 p.m. when the Meeting House Chorus presents Carols & Cookies. What could be better? This holiday concert — complete with a sing-along — has become a North Fork family tradition. Set aside the holiday hub-bub and take a little time out to hear these melodious voices sing holiday classics and inspiring new selections in the beautiful and tranquil Jamesport Meeting House. Join us on December 20 at 4 p.m. for music and a post-concert cookie reception. Admission is free. Donations gratefully accepted.

World Renowned Pianist Magdalena Baczewska Rescheduled to October 3

Due to the stormy weather forecast for September 26, the concert by world-renowned pianist Magdalena Baczewska has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 3. Her performance will lead off the venue’s acclaimed 1731 Concert Series. Dr. Baczewska is recognized for her versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, educator, academic leader and speaker. She has performed with orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and at venues such as the Tanglewood Music Festival and Carnegie Hall. Performance time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.

Emergency Preparedness Class

Built in 1731, the Jamesport Meeting House has withstood many storms, including a fire triggered by a lightning strike in 1900. Is your household prepared for a natural or man-made disaster? Learn how to best to prepare, respond and recover from an emergency at a FREE New York State Emergency Preparedness Class on Thursday, June 11 at 6:30 p.m., at the Jamesport Meeting House. The class is open to the public and is being hosted by the Greater Jamesport Civic Association and presented by New York State Homeland and Emergency Services. Each participating household will receive a free emergency preparedness kit. Advance registration is required.

Jamesport Meeting House Chorus America 250 Concert

Join us as the Jamesport Meeting House Chorus celebrates America 250 with song on Sunday, June 7 at 4 p.m. The concert will feature the inspiring Song of Democracy by Walt Whitman set to music by Howard Hanson, the Clemens Sanctus, Riversong by Andy Beck, and Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat by Frank Loesser, The Water is Wide and special arrangements of your favorite patriotic songs. This is My Story, This is My Song – Sat., May 2 & Sun., May 3

Riverhead Faculty and Community Theatre present a musical review, “This is My Story, This is my Song,” on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jamesport Meeting House.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and may be purchased at the door. 

Mudflats String Band – Original Takes on Traditional Music, April 25

Jamesport Meeting House invites you to tap your feet to the music of Mudflats String Band on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. Inspired by traditional Americana music rooted in southern Appalachian Celtic fiddle and African banjo, these talented North Fork musicians blend rich harmonies and twin fiddle flair into a fresh, contemporary sound.
