World-renowned pianist Magdalena Baczewska returns to the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, September 26 to lead off the venue’s acclaimed 1731 Concert Series. Ms. Baczewska is recognized for her versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, educator, academic leader and speaker. She has performed with orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and at venues such as the Tanglewood Music Festival and Carnegie Hall. The September 26 program includes works by Chopin, Cowell, Debussy, Ravel, Ali-Zadeh, Glass and others. Performance time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased in advance online.
