Due to the stormy weather forecast for September 26, the concert by world-renowned pianist Magdalena Baczewska has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 3. Her performance will lead off the venue’s acclaimed 1731 Concert Series. Dr. Baczewska is recognized for her versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, educator, academic leader and speaker. She has performed with orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and at venues such as the Tanglewood Music Festival and Carnegie Hall. The October 3 program includes works by Chopin, Cowell, Debussy, Ravel, Ali-Zadeh, Glass and others. Performance time is 7:30 p.m. The concert will be followed by a reception with the artist. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased in advance online.
