The North Fork Project team, which has been researching the history of slavery on the North Fork, will present its findings at the Jamesport Meeting House on Wednesday, November 16 at 7 p.m. Open to the public. There is no charge, but donations will be accepted to support the project.

“Sunday's session will be for both fiddle and clawhammer banjo. We'll learn a couple of tunes with some technical details for each instrument, but also jam a few just for fun. It's great to be back together in person!”   Tickets for the Sunday afternoon workshop are $40 each and are available HERE.

“If you can just play a few simple old time fiddle tunes, or if you're an experienced player, this workshop will be useful and fun. We'll take a couple of classic tunes apart to understand what makes them sound unique and old timey. Starting first with short melodic phrases which we'll play into our muscle memory, we'll add advice about bowing, then double stops, ornamentation and build it from there. Pianists Charlotte Day and Jeffrey Wentz will perform a recital of music for piano four-hands at the Jamesport Meeting House on Sunday, June 19th at 4pm. The program includes music by Beethoven, Brahms and Chopin.
