Taylor Burgess, a 2014 Riverhead High School graduate who is currently singing with the Metropolitan Opera House Chorus, will perform a concert to benefit the Riverhead High School music department at the Jamesport Meeting House on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. Suggested donation is $20.

Carols & Cookies

The doors of the Jamesport Meeting House will open on Sunday, December 17 for our seasonal tradition “Carols & Cookies.” This year the program will feature our very own Jamesport Meeting House Chorus -- your friends and neighbors -- led by Marguerite Volonts with Jeff Wentz on the piano.  The chorus will perform a seasonal concert and lead attendees in a sing-along of popular carols, followed by cookies and mulled cider in the Lecture Room. Program starts at 3 p.m. Suggested $20 donation...

RUSTY KRANSKY at the Meeting House

Rusty Kransky will perform “Broadway Baby,” a concert of songs with a twist, at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, November 18 at 4 PM. Tickets are $20 and will be sold at the door. According to Mr. Kransky, "The concert is comprised of Broadway songs that I have not had the chance to sing. NEW YORK POLYPHONY

North Fork Contemporary / Amei Wallach Film

Sunday, September 17th – 4PM, North Fork-based filmmaker Amei Wallach will introduce a screening of her film Ilya and Emilia Kabakov: Enter Here, which the New Yorker called “A marvelous documentary” and the New York Times described as “a multifaceted portrait conveying the emotional urgency of the Kabakovs’ work.” The screening will be followed by a presentation about North Fork Contemporary, a new non-profit art organization for the North Fork. This is a free event.

BREAKOUT!

BREAK OUT! a one-act play by Maggie Bloomfield and Susan Dingle will be performed by them at the Jamesport Meeting House Sunday, August 27, 7:00 p.m.  The show is composed of poems and monologues about how two young women found their way to recovery, one from the world of the Greenwich Village and Broadway, and the other from the world of Hollywood.  Tickets are $20 and available below.  [button...
