Holiday Songs Around the World with East End Jazz, Dec. 6

The Jamesport Meeting House presents Holiday Songs Around the World: A Global Music Celebration, performed by East End Jazz on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. The program will transport you with a selection of holiday songs that highlight the cultural richness of different countries, from the classic and familiar, such as “Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht” (Silent Night) — to lesser-known gems from Sweden, Lebanon, China, Israel and Japan.

1731 Series Presents The Lysander Piano Trio on December 13

The Lysander Piano Trio will perform at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. as part of our 1731 Series, which brings internationally-acclaimed musicians to the North Fork. The trio will a program entitled, “Dreams & Apparitions,” featuring works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Rebecca Clarke and Robert Schumann.

“Help is on the Way” The Music of Nancy LaMott, December 14

Rusty Kransky will perform “Help is on the Way,” a tribute to the late, great cabaret singer, Nancy LaMott on Sunday, December 14 at 4 p.m. Enjoy classics such as “That Old Black Magic” and “Moon River.” The concert will feature Jeff Wentz at piano.

Carols & Cookies – A North Fork Holiday Tradition – Dec. 21

Come and share in a North Fork holiday tradition when the Meeting House Chorus presents Carols & Cookies. This joyful concert is a hallmark of the holiday season, featuring songs you know and love, new seasonal discoveries, and a sing-along. Join us on December 21 at 4 p.m. for music and a post-concert cookie reception. Admission is free. Donations gratefully accepted.

SOLD OUT! The Original Blues/Jazz Soundscape of Gail Storm Live! November 1

North Fork singer/songwriter/pianist Gail Storm will present her original blues/jazz-infused soundscape at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature Gail Storm at piano and on vocals, joined by Ed Bimonte on drums, Dave Sacresanto on bass, David Phelps on guitar and other special guests. Tickets are only $20 and include a reception with the artists following the concert.

A Captivating Evening with Borromeo String Quartet

The Jamesport Meeting House is pleased to host a very special 1731 Series concert by the acclaimed Borromeo String Quartet on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. This award-winning quartet is admired for its fresh interpretations of classical music and has been hailed for its “edge-of-the-seat performances,” by the Boston Globe, which called the Borromeo “simply the best.”

Hope and Resilience Long Island: The Vagina Monologues

The Vagina Monologues  is on September 27th at 7:00 p.m. at the Jamesport Meeting House. We'd love to have you join us (and bring a few friends!) as all funds raised go to support Hope and Resilience Long Island, serving victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault and human trafficking on the East End of Long Island.  

Corchaug Repertory Theatre One-Act Festival

The Corchaug Repertory One-Act Festival on September 13 & 14 will feature three one-act plays: “The Grind” by Bob Kaplan, “Disarming” by Peter Harrington, and “One Wish, Hold the Mayo,” by Nicholas Auletti. Performance times are 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 14. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
