Please Join us Friday October 14th at 7:30 for Great Films / Live Music at the Jamesport Meeting House. The new projection screen at the Meeting House will be inaugurated with the 1930 silent masterpiece Earth by Ukrainian director Oleksandr Dovzhenko. Commonly regarded as Dovzhenko’s masterpiece, Earth is often considered as one of the greatest films ever made. A live original score will be performed by ACME, a tight group of collaborators and improvisors with the emphasis on a very contemporary sound.
