Pianists Charlotte Day and Jeffrey Wentz will perform a recital of music for piano four-hands at the Jamesport Meeting House on Sunday, November 28th at 3pm.  The program includes music by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin and Debussy.  Proceeds from the concert will benefit the both the Meeting House and the restoration fund of the First Universalist Church of Southold.  Tickets for this special concert will be $20, available HERE.

Ms. Day, the Director of Music at the First Universalist Church, has had a distinguished career as both a soloist and a teacher. Past performances include concerti with renowned orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony, the Cleveland Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Symphony. She has taught at Indiana University, Carnegie Mellon University, Duquesne University, Chatham University, and Bethel College and maintains an active studio of private students.  Mr. Wentz earned a degree in piano performance from the Oberlin College Conservatory. His teachers include Ralph Zitterbart, Miles Mauney, and Leon Fleisher.

Ms. Day and Mr. Wentz played frequently at the First Universalist Church before that building was lost in a tragic fire. This concert is their first together at the Meeting House since their sold-out appearance in 2015.

All members of the audience must be vaccinated and wear masks at all times while inside the Meeting House.
