The Jamesport Meeting House Chorus, under the direction of George Moravek, will be back on Sunday, May 15 at 4 p.m. with a concert of Stephen Sondheim music. There is a suggested $20 donation. Masks are recommended. This program will also be performed at Peconic Landing on Tuesday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

The Celebration of Sondheim is the first appearance of the chorus since 2019. The concert will include favorites from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; Into the Woods; Sunday in the Park with George; Merrily We Roll Along, Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street; Follies; A Little Night Music; and Company. Featured soloists include Rusty Kransky, Dee Martin and Marguerite Volonts. Jeff Wentz will accompany the chorus on piano and Michael Bennett on drums.
