Join East End Jazz at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. for an extraordinary concert honoring Women’s History Month. “Voices of Vision: An All-Star Tribute to Women’s History Month” will showcase the music of iconic female jazz figures such as Billie Holiday and Mary Lou Williams, as well as many other timeless classics and modern masterpieces that highlight the works of female composers. Performing with East End Jazz will be director Iris Ornig on bass, Ada Rovatti on Tenor and soprano saxes, Lo Wood on baritone sax, Ceclia Coleman at piano and other featured performers.
