Award-winning folksinger and songwriter David Roth will perform his evocative and insightful music one night only at the Jamesport Meeting House on Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. A musical story-teller, Roth’s performances are rich with humor, emotion and offbeat observations. His songs have filled the halls of Carnegie Hall, the United Nations and even the Space Shuttle Atlantis, and his lyrics can be found on the pages of Jack Canfield’s popular book “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” “David and his music will touch you to the very depths of your soul. He’ll make you laugh and cry and inspire you to rise and fly,” said Canfield.
As singer, songwriter, recording artist, keynote speaker, workshop leader, and instructor, David has earned top honors at premier songwriter competitions and taken his music, experience, and expertise to a wide variety of venues around the globe. Now, for the first time, his music will fill the halls of the North Fork’s oldest public building, the Jamesport Meeting House in a concert sponsored by the North Fork Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Tickets are only $20. Advance purchase is recommended.
