Enjoy an intimate concert of classics from the Great American Songbook on Sunday, April 12, when Rusty Kransky performs a tribute to the late Nancy LaMott, a highly acclaimed cabaret singer who passed in 1995 at age 43. Accompanied by Jeffrey Wentz at piano, Mr. Kransky will sing several of Ms. LaMott’s original arrangements of familiar songs by Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, David Friedman, Johnny Mercer, Henry Mancini and others, as gifted to him by the cabaret singer’s former musical director, Christopher Marlowe. Mr. Kransky’s performance of these dynamic arrangements will you make you feel as though you’re hearing “Moon River” and “How Deep is the Ocean?” for very first time.
